Once he was a champion, but now the world-class Canadian curler, James P Armstrong, is facing time in jail, for attempting to smuggle the impotence treatment Viagra into the country.
The ex-sporting professional also worked as a dentist before his retirement, and the fact that he once worked in the medical field is likely to add to anger about his unscrupulous actions. He was planning to sell the 2,500 fake Viagra tablets, and 200 counterfeit Cialis pills, on to an accomplice, who would then have sold the medications at clubs around the British Columbia area of Canada. He admitted to police that he was expecting multiple shipments of the drugs, which were produced in China, after they intercepted a shipment that he was due to pick up.
Viagra and Cialis are two of the most counterfeited medications on the drug market. Customers buy these pills from websites, or in drinking establishments, only to find that they are ineffective. Sometimes they can even be harmful. And with typical ingredients including unsavoury items such as bat droppings, sawdust and chalk, you can bet that they won’t taste good, either.
The fact that Armstrong’s shipment was intended to be sold on at nightclubs is also worrying. It’s evidence that there is a demand for Viagra among clubbers, who are most probably not taking the drug because of erection problems, but because they want to have longer-lasting sex after finishing their night of partying. This may be to counteract the effects of alcohol they have consumed. However, revellers would have had no idea about what ingredients were actually contained in the tablets they took, and some of these ingredients may have mixed badly with alcohol. Even if they had been sold authentic Viagra, excessive alcohol consumption is not advised if you want the medication to work effectively.
If you have genuine erectile dysfunction problems, you should seek out advice from a reputable source. And if you wish to purchase Viagra or Cialis, ensure that you do so from a supplier that you can trust.
