Impotence

Cialis users in their 50s may well regret smoking in their 30s

Most young people who begin smoking will start as teenagers or begin the habit during their 20s and 30s, fail to consider the health implications smoking can cause later in life. The fact they may suffer with erectile dysfunction wouldn't cross their minds.

The health implications with smoking have long been recorded with scores of anti smoking campaigns giving us in no uncertain terms, the exact reasons why we should be quitting. Alongside heart disease, smokers also risk lung cancer. Not many would have considered though, the fact that they may well end up impotent in later life.

outside of official medical journals, the problem hasn't well publicised. To date, the condition, commonly treated with Viagra, has only been discussed in the context of men aged 50-65. The majority of journals have listed causes such as stress and even obesity, but never erectile dysfunction or impotence.

How does the problem occur?

Large numbers of men in their 50s, may well look to proven treatments such as Cialis, Levitra and Viagra, unbeknown to the fact that their condition may well have been the result of the smoking habit.

As tar builds in the lungs, it puts a strain on the heart. The rate at which it pumps blood around the body increases as a result which then poses a strain on the blood vessels. High blood pressure has been linked with erectile dysfunction.

Anybody suffering with impotence should see their doctor to determine whether it can be treated and if it is the result of a more serious underlying condition.
