As Aston Villa front man and England flop, Emile Heskey announces his retirement from the international game, we can safely say that he could not have finished sooner when leaving the field in South Africa.

What are we referring to? Well, we previously reported on a study that found Heskey to be the number one thing for men to think about, when trying to avoid ejaculating prematurely.

The burley striker took an early bath no less than twice in South Africa and we are left speculating over whether the number of men who considered him to be the best cure for premature ejaculation, has increased, given his ironic lack of ability to finish anything on the field.

The study had involved 1,000 men and other methods of keeping it under control in the bedroom included thinking of the entire Arsenal squad and pondering over what the Terminator film series was even about.

Recent findings

Figures show that 40% of the male population is suffering with premature ejaculation. Recent studies also show that that the ideal length for intercourse is in fact 7-13 minutes. There is certainly scope to argue that a proportion of those who report symptoms of premature ejaculation, are victim of over expectancy on their part.

Never the less, premature ejaculation can prove problematic for both a sufferer and their partner. Without adequate communication or knowledgeable advice, the problem can often perpetuate itself.

There is a range of comprehensive advice out there. See your doctor in the event you experience any symptoms associated with premature ejaculation.
