Is pork as effective as Viagra?

The Argentinean President has made the shock announcement that pork contains a higher concentration of erection inducing properties, then long established penile enhancement pill; Viagra.

In what has already being seen as a direct attempt to boost the pork industry, Christina Fernandez openly claimed that she and her husband had already rejuvenated their sex lives, after feasting on pork ribs.

"Eating pork improves your sex life. I'd say it's a lot nicer to eat a bit of grilled pork than take Viagra," said Fernandez in a speech to the leaders of Argentina's pig farming industry. She also went on to say, let me tell you, I am a big fan of pork meat, and I am not just saying that to look good here."

Despite her tongue in cheek suggestions that pork was an effective sexual stimulant, her statement was met with a round of applause before she went on to discuss Argentina’s proposed subsidies for its ever growing pork industry.

Causing a stir

Although she makes the light heart comment that her husband would be less than impressed with the information she had leaked regarding their sex lives, her initial claims have been discussed on a variety of TV and radio shows, sparking the debate over whether Argentina, as a nation renowned for its consumption of beef, would benefit from adding more pork to its staple diet.

In actual fact, the head of the association of pork producers, Juan Luis Ucelli, supports Fernndez’s claims, arguing that "there is a village in Osaka, Japan in which the people who reached 105 years old and ate a lot of pork had a lot of sexual activity".
