New tests carried out on child friendly swine flu vaccine

02/10/2009 0 Comments |

We are able to reveal that 2 brand new swine flu vaccines are currently undergoing stringent testing in a South London laboratory. Experts are looking into how safe it will be for children. With the next outbreak just around the corner, health experts say the number of new cases has more than doubled over the past 14 days.

The study is ongoing at St George's vaccine institute at St George's Hospital in Tooting. The paediatric infections specialist; Dr Paul Heath, at the hospital, is heading the study. Heath commented; "Swine flu is on its way back. At the moment it's the same strain of the illness. Children are one of the age groups most vulnerable to swine flu infection".

This cutting edge injection will be welcomed, given the unsafe record that a variety of current treatments have with children

He also goes on to say: "This study will help in decisions about which vaccine will be best for protecting children." We would advise you see your health care provider in the event you experience any symptoms.
