It's not exactly the right time of year to be eating a hearty meal. But for any women who just cannot wait for the launch of female Viagra, a restaurant called El Rey in Brooklyn, New York, is offering up a wintery meal that could just put some sparkle back into your love life.
The restuarant is serving up Viagra soup – a potent combination of oysters, crab, clam, cilantro and tequila, among other ingredients – that they promise will make you horny.
It is a well known fact that oysters are aphrodisiacs, boosting your desire levels. And the restaurant owners insist that the other items of seafood also help to get you in the mood. The soup is particularly popular on a Friday night, according to its makers.
While there is no substitute for genuine Viagra, this broth is definitely one way to spice things up.
Other natural aphrodisiacs
Nature provides us with plenty of natural sex-drive enhancers, if we look hard enough for them. One of these is Rhodiola, a plant found in Russia that fights the underlying causes of a fading sexual appetite, including stress. Another is the Chinese herb, intriguingly titled Horny Goat Weed. This plant is so similar to Viagra, that its existence has stopped Viagra-makers Pfizer from putting a full patent on their impotence drug.
The animal kingdom also contains libido-boosters, such as Spanish Fly, a powerful liquid chemical released by a beetle to seduce its mate. Luckily for humans, it also works for our species too. Be careful if you choose to use it, though; excessive doses can harm you.
