Dannii Martin's Top Health & Fitness Stocking Fillers
Christmas Day is never complete without a bulging stocking of festive surprises hanging next to the tree. It's not always easy to know what to get your loved ones, so it's crucial that you listen to the experts, especially when it comes to the perfect health and fitness present.
We asked Dannii Martin of Hungry Healthy Happy to share her secrets for the best value items on the market right now. From workout accessories to nutritious fancies, her selections are ideal nuggets of encouragement for choosing a healthier lifestyle in 2014.
Music is essential for my workouts, as a good song can take you from wanting to give up to having loads more energy. It is worth investing in a decent pair of headphones that don't keep falling out and have good sound quality. I really like Yurbuds as they are sweat and water resistant and they allow for ambient noise awareness. They come in lots of great colours too.

I can't remember ever not having chocolate in my stocking. Whilst there is definitely a place for chocolate at Christmas, and all through the year, wouldn't it be nice to have some healthy snacks in there to balance out all the indulgence? I would recommend Nakd bars, as they are made from natural ingredients, just fruit and nuts, and they have some amazing flavours. My personal favourite is the cocoa orange bar.

If you are anything like me, then you just can't have too many workout clothes. My workout clothes used to be really boring and plain black, but now I like bright colours and funny slogans, as it gives me more energy. I love this one that says "will run for wine" because let's face it, sometimes knowing that there is a glass of wine and a cupcake at the end of the day makes that run a little bit easier.

Although the amount of people getting gym memberships in the new year soars, it isn't an option for many people because of money or time. So why not put a workout DVD in someone's stocking this year? I have been given one every year for the past 5 years and I have my own little workout collection for when I can't get to the gym. Amazon has a great selection. Some of my favourites are kettlebells, Zumba and Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred.

Whilst I am not suggesting that you try and fit a food processor in to a Christmas stocking, there are some great small bits of kitchen equipment that make great stocking stuffers. Things like measuring spoons or Julienne peelers help people get a little bit more creative in a kitchen and stay healthy too.
