- Progesterone: protects the uterus lining (endometrium), reducing the risk of endometrial cancer.

How effective is Bijuve?
Bijuve is a highly effective HRT that’s well tolerated by most women. One clinical study found that Bijuve 1 mg reduced hot flushes and night sweats (vasomotor symptoms) by 76% after 12 weeks.

How do I take Bijuve?
Take 1 capsule whole every day in the evening with food and a glass of water. You can take Bijuve long term for as long as you want menopause support, but check with your doctor first to check if treatment is safe for you. Do not take a break between packs.
When should I take Bijuve?
You should take Bijuve capsules in the evening because it helps maintain more stable hormone levels, and it can make it easier to sleep through the night.
You can take Bijuve during the day, such as in the morning after waking up, but it is generally advised to take it in the evening with your dinner.
How long does Bijuve take to work?

Who cannot take Bijuve?
Bijuve capsules are suitable for women who still have a womb and need continuous combined HRT.
Do not take Bijuve if you have:
- an allergy to any ingredient in this medicine
- ever had breast cancer, or any other cancer sensitive to oestrogens
- unexplained vaginal bleeding
- excessive thickening of the womb lining (endometrial hyperplasia) that is not being treated
- ever had a blood clot or a disorder affecting clotting
- recently had heart disease, such as heart attack, stroke, or angina
- ever had liver disease and your liver function tests have not returned to normal
- a rare inherited blood problem called porphyria
What are the most common side effects of Bijuve?
Bijuve can cause some side effects, although not everyone will get them. The most common Bijuve side effects include:
- breast tenderness
- headache and dizziness
- mood changes
- fatigue
- back pain
- abdominal pain or indigestion
- pelvic pain
- weight gain
- acne or dry skin
- nausea
- vaginal discharge
- unexplained vaginal bleeding
