More information about Maexeni
Maexeni is a combined contraceptive that is taken orally. It is also known as ‘the pill’. It contains the synthetic hormones, ethinylestradiol and levonorgestrel.
As well as preventing pregnancy, with a success rate of 99%, this medication offers additional benefits, such as lighter periods and milder premenstrual symptoms.
Please note, you can only order this treatment if you have first been prescribed it by your doctor. This is because everyone reacts differently to hormonal contraceptives, and you need to be monitored at first.
As a combined contraceptive, Maexeni works in three different ways, each of them preventing conception:
It is important to follow the instructions of your doctor as well as what is listed in the patient leaflet.
This treatment does not protect you from STIs, such as chlamydia and HIV. Only a condom will do this.
Always follow instructions contained in the patient leaflet. If you have any doubts, consult with your doctor.
A summary of how to take this contraceptive follows:
Everyone reacts differently to hormonal contraceptives, which is why it is a medical and legal requirement to first be seen and monitored by a doctor before you are prescribed online.
You may suffer side effects not listed below. If this is the case, you should seek further medical advice. Especially, if the reaction is distressing or you suspect it poses a risk to your health.
The most commonly reported side effects include:
You should also report any unexplained vaginal bleeding to your doctor.
If you believe you are suffering an allergic reaction to this contraception (symptoms include difficulty breathing, swelling of the lips, throat and tongue and rashes), seek immediate medical attention.
Before starting any new treatment, you should always inform your doctor of any medical conditions you suffer from as well as any medications you are taking.
Various medications can interact negatively with Maexeni, including certain treatments for epilepsy, tuberculosis and HIV, as well as St John’s wort, some antibiotics and some sedatives.
Before you order, please list anything you are taking in our online consultation.
There are a number of conditions that preclude the use of Maexeni and other combined hormonal contraceptives. You should avoid this medication if any of the following apply to you:
You should have regular check-ups with your GP whilst taking any medication on a long-term basis. You should also inform them if you have any upcoming surgery, as you may need to stop taking the pill to reduce the risk of blood clots.
You should also examine your breasts regularly to check for any abnormalities that could indicate cancer.
Yes, you can buy Maexeni online; however, you must first complete a consultation. This is a medical requirement and gives our doctors the opportunity to assess your overall health.
If your order is approved, we will ship your contraception with complimentary next-day delivery.
