Dr Sashittal graduated from King’s College London in 2013 and completed her foundation training through the East of England deanery in 2015. She completed GP training via the St Mary’s Hospital VTS scheme in 2019 and has worked as a GP at an NHS practice since completing training.

Dr Shikha Sashittal attended King’s College London, where she achieved her Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery in 2013.
In 2017 she specialised in sexual and reproductive health, gaining a diploma from the FSRH (Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health).
Finally, in 2019 she gained her GP status by becoming a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.
Following on from her foundation training, Dr Sashittal has worked in a variety of medical centres, including mental health facilities and emergency departments.
She also has experience working with the elderly, in paediatrics, and in transplant medicine and surgery.
Finally, alongside her work as a general practitioner, Dr Sashitall also worked as a 111 responder.
Dr Sashittal has specialised in sexual and reproductive health since gaining her medical licence.
She also worked the front lines during the pandemic, helping to treat patients suffering with moderate to severe symptoms of COVID-19.
She has an interest in travel and has also worked in hospitals abroad.
