I had a lot of trouble with reordering from the website. At the final stage the site was endlessly buffering. I accessed my account again from a different web browser and the same thing happened. The online chat wasn’t much help, advising me to delete my history and try again - no joy. Then I was asked to call the helpline. When I did this I was informed there was no one available and asked to leave a message, which I did. No one called back. It was only on the second occasion that I got through to a person who confirmed my order. In the days following I was bombarded by electronic emails telling me I had an incomplete order (which I didn’t) and asking if a needed help (!)
Elleste Duet Conti is a HRT medication containing oestrogen and progestogen in every tablet. When taken daily, it helps ease menopause symptoms like hot flushes, night sweats, and sleep problems while protecting your uterine lining. At HealthExpress, we prescribe 2 mg/ 1 mg Elleste Duet Conti tablets to postmenopausal women who still have a womb and need continuous HRT.
Each tablet contains 2 mg estradiol hemihydrate and 1 mg norethisterone acetate. This dual-action support helps regulate hormone levels during menopause.
Elleste Duet Conti is a highly effective HRT continuous combined HRT for women who have a womb. It’s generally considered a reliable, effective option for managing hot flushes, night sweats, mood changes, and other menopause symptoms when taken without a break.
Take 1 tablet every day with a glass of water. You can take Elleste Duet at any time of day, just make sure you take every tablet at around the same time each day to ensure a steady supply of hormones. Unlike Elleste Duet, all Elleste Duet Conti tablets contain the same dosage. Simply follow the order shown on the strip and start the next strip without a break once finished.
When you start taking Elleste Duet Conti depends on whether or not you still have menstrual periods:
If you are switching from another oral HRT, start taking Elleste Duet Conti once you finish the one you are currently taking. If switching from another type of HRT (e.g. patches), speak with your doctor about how to switch safely and effectively, as advice depends on what you’re switching from.
Elleste Duet Conti starts supplying your body with hormones from the first dose, but it can take a few weeks for you to notice an improvement in your symptoms. Peak effects are usually felt about 3 months after you take your first tablet, and continuously support you until you stop taking it.
If you forget to take Elleste Duet Conti and it has been less than 12 hours, take it as soon as you remember, and take your next tablet at the usual time. If it has been more than 12 hours, skip the missed dose and take your next one at the usual time. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
Elleste Duet Conti can be safely prescribed to postmenopausal women who still have a womb, provided they complete a short online consultation.
